one of my other favorite shows from the United Kingdom is the IT Crowd, will be made into a pilot for NBC. Interestingly, Richard Ayoade who played Moss on the original, will also be playing Moss in the new version.

but not really. ken jennings has posted on his blog why he likes the british version of the office better than the american one — i completely agree with his points. as much as i love the folks over at the tvsquad.com, i guess i too obsessive to get on board with what bob sassone said over there.
one thing that always bugs me is that the american version doesn’t really address the whole microphone thing. do the “cast” members just leave their mikes on all the time, even when they walk over to the parking lot? leave work? all that, yadda yadda yadda.

I forgot I did this awhile ago, but the distance between Scranton, Pennsylvia and Slough, England is approximately 4,000 miles or 7,400 kilometers. Does anyone have the exact amount?
