Now, it's difficult to even compare these two because they are so... special.
However, it has to be done. Both characters are so tactless, so egocentric, so delusional.
Gareth and Dwight both have a determined loyalty to their superiors but when it comes down to it, like their superiors, they love themselves. However, in a recent article (as of Jan 2006) Rainn Wilson, the fine actor who plays Dwight Schrute talks about how Dwight prefers to be No. 2, whether it be Michael Scott or whoever is Regional Manager of AnyCompany. Gareth was once like this, but we see that with the given opportunity, he ultimately fends for himself. |
